Our Story
Ruby K champions young winemakers, great fruit and Ruby’s hedonistic labels. The first batch was bottled in June 2022 and the second batch in July. Initially Ruby K home base was located in the heart of Yarra Valley in Healesville but you can now find the wines along with some of Ruby’s art in Monbulk in the Dandenong Ranges just outside of Melbourne. Watch out for the new pinot coming September 2023.
About the artist
Ruby Knight is an Naarm based artist who focuses on themes of hedonism, pleasure, emotional spaces and empowerment in one’s body.
Ruby’s unconventional figures are generally thrown into scenes of socialisation (parties that involve dancing and drinking) or states of self-composed decompression (general lounging or bed dwelling). Ruby enjoys bright colours and visual chaos.
Though she primarily draws and paints, Ruby sometimes experiments with soft sculpture and embroidery.
